Our Vision
Honouring Heritage. Inspiring Innovation.
For more than 60 years, the Chan-Kent Foundation has supported aspiring artists and designers across British Columbia through bursaries that create access to creative education and opportunity. Founded by Charles and Toy Chan-Kent in 1964, the Foundation continues to honour a legacy built on craftsmanship, innovation, and community.
Today, the Foundation proudly supports students at Emily Carr University of Art + Design, Kwantlen Polytechnic University, and Vancouver Community College — empowering emerging creatives to become the next generation of innovators and leaders in fashion, textiles, garment production, and design.
